Hardware wallet

Found a Ledger or Trezor?

A hardware wallet is not a box containing coins. It is a device that can sign transactions if the right access material exists. The safest first step is often to preserve the device and avoid unnecessary attempts.

What may be useful

The device, PIN, recovery sheet, passphrase notes, original box, app records, and any exchange or purchase emails.

What not to do

Do not keep guessing the PIN, reset the device, update firmware, photograph the recovery sheet, or type seed words into a website.

How CryptoRestore helps

We explain the relationship between device, PIN, seed phrase, and wallet access. The client performs every action in person.

When to stop

If both PIN and seed phrase are missing, invasive hardware work is outside CryptoRestore’s direct scope.
