Technical review

Cases where we can help.

The service is appropriate when the direct owner or heir controls legitimate material that needs to be reviewed, preserved, or used correctly: a device, PIN, seed phrase, wallet file, exchange account trace, or estate documentation.

Use case

Safe access, verification, and transfer.

01

Hardware wallet with available PIN

The device is accessible, but the client or heirs need help verifying assets, networks, addresses, derivation paths, or transfers without mistakes.

02

Complete seed phrase

The 12, 18, or 24 words are available and must be imported correctly in a safe environment before funds are moved to a new wallet controlled by the client.

03

Partial or uncertain seed phrase

Missing words, uncertain order, transcription errors, or invalid BIP39 checksums can be analyzed methodically without exposing the seed on online systems.

04

Encrypted software wallet

File wallet.dat, Electrum, MetaMask vault, JSON keystore, Ethereum presale wallet o legacy wallets with forgotten or partially remembered passwords.

05

Exchange account in an estate

Technical orientation for the direct owner or heir dealing with exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase, or Binance. CryptoRestore does not log in, communicate, or transact on behalf of the client.

06

Device triage and preservation

Review of hardware wallets, laptops, phones, hard drives, or storage media before risky attempts, with preservation and documentation of the process.

07

Light forensic documentation

Technical inventory, hashes of relevant files, information collection, operational timeline, and material the client may choose to share with their own advisers.

08

Escalation to a specialized lab

In complex hardware cases, we can preserve the device, assess the case realistically, and refer it to specialized labs when that makes sense.

Method

Understand first, operate later.

Every case starts with a preliminary review. The goal is to understand whether there are sufficient technical and legal grounds before connecting devices, importing seed phrases, or attempting software recovery.

Operations are performed by the client. CryptoRestore guides the process, documents the relevant steps, and keeps the technical role separate from any fund management or financial advice.
