The safest answer is sometimes “stop here.” A preliminary review separates realistic technical paths from cases that require a specialist, legal process, or no action.
What not to send
Do not email seed phrases, private keys, wallet files, passwords, photos of recovery sheets, or identity documents.
Possible outcomes
The case may be treatable, may need another specialist, may need legal/tax advice first, or may be technically unrealistic.
Why it matters
Clear limits prevent false hope, unnecessary risk, and actions that could make a recoverable case worse.
